The Mai
"The Mai" written by Marina Carr, ran from 19th to 22nd November 2008 in the Riverbank Theatre, Newbridge, Co Kildare to full houses every night.
Longtime member of the group, Bro Michael Broderick directed the show, his first major directorial effort.
The Mai is set in the midlands of Ireland over the span of a year from 1979 to 1980, and explores the hopes and disappointments of four generations of women within one Irish family.
