Stella by Starlight
Written by Irish playwright Bernard Farrell "Stella by Starlight" has been described as a "Heavenly Comedy".
Packed with laughs, the story is about Dermot and his wife Stella, who have moved from Dublin to the "peace and quiet" of the Wicklow hills with hilarious consequences.
The play is set on the night when their daughter Tara is about to go to her debs. Her partner, who is known as "Needles" comes to pick her up in a rather unconventional manner.
To add to Dermot and Stella`s woes they have to cope with the arrival of some snobbish friends of theirs, Paul and Geraldine, who are visiting for the evening.
The play was presented by the group in the Riverbank Theatre, Newbridge from Wednesday 5th April to Saturday 8th April 2006 and was directed by Paddy Melia.
